A New Year means New Paths

2012 Plans

Merrry New Year! We have been working on our travel plans for the upcoming year and I thought it might be interesting to see what our path would look like mapped out. This is a very general plan that only includes the places that we know we have to visit. Many of the routes on the map will not take our entire free time to complete, leaving us many days to explore the areas around our path.
I am so excited to see what this new year will bring. Every day we are getting better and better at this nomad thing and I think that will allow us to enjoy our changing surroundings even more.

The full google map with the list and dates of stops can be found here

Hello Kim and Darren, (Rika and ???) . Just dug out your business card when I found the Rolex Race on Speed Channel and realized y’all would probably be at the race. Wow, what a journey I found on your web site. Have missed your quiet neighborliness. Husband and wife next door are nice folks with 3 wiener dogs. So coco, gran-dog, {Darren’s Squirrel on a String :-) }, is having aggression issues with them (growls and barks at them). Coco still likes to cruise the woods hoping to chase-up the deer once in a while. The guy next door smokes heavily outside and has a terrible cough. He has emptied your office/basement area and turned it into a “Man-Cave”. He is a house painter by trade with his adult son and a couple helpers. They are contracted by a rental management group. Bonnie, Steve’s wife, is very quiet and nice, She works and cares for the dogs. A couple are rescue dogs. Only issue is Steve likes to “Crank-up” Jazz Percussion-type music. We feel the beat a lot, but he turns it down at sleep-time. They were ecstatic with the patio you had built. They had been renting residence-type apartments. They are renting the house. Well enough chatter for now. Y’all be well and have safe travel. Good luck Darren with your photography. I’ll be checking on your photo site (www.dperceptions.com). Best Regards, Carl ad Joyce.

Hi Carl! It’s great hearing from you. Thanks for thinking to check out the blog when you saw the race. Although, I feel that until recently, I have not been doing a very good job of keeping up with it. Hope all is well with you and tell Coco to take it easy on the neighbor dogs :)
