We were bummed to be leaving the Key West area. I would have liked to stay for a month, but my sister is having a baby soon and I want to be around for his arrival. So we are headed back to Georgia. As we made our way north on the Overseas Highway we stopped in at the No Name Pub for lunch. It’s the oldest bar in the keys and their motto is “A Nice Place… If You Can Find It.” We did have to drive off the highway and through neighborhoods for a few miles. It was worth it. I had the Sweet Clams basket and Darren had the Tuna sandwich. They were the best fried clams I have ever had.
We are stopping in at my folks near Tampa on our way up to Georgia. It’s about a seven hour drive so we decided to slit it up and stop in Naples. They have some really nice RV resorts here, but they are Class A only, and since it was only an overnight stop we were just going to stay at the KOA. That is until we saw it. It is not as represented on their website. We had a few minutes of “Well, now what?” Google found the Neapolitan Cove RV Resort, a nice, clean, landscaped park. Perfect for what we needed.
