We are in Hilton Head Island, SC, having just completed our coast-to-coast-to-coast journey (that will be it’s own post) Using the internets, we discovered Hilton Head Motorcoach Resort, a wonderful place to stop, clean up and recharge our batteries. The resort operates on the condominium model, with each site being individually owned. When the owners are not here the space is rented out to people like us. Each site is unique as the owners have improved their plots with things like stamped concrete or paved pads, outdoor furniture, and landscaping.
It is probably the nicest place we have stayed since our journey began back at the end of June and right now I don’t want to leave. I may be anxious to move in by Tuesday though. Not sure where we are going now that the racing season is over. Looks like south Florida might be the front runner.
