Audi take 1-2-3
Yesterday was a laze about kind of day. There was much racing to be watched. Immediately after waking in the morning we turned on the TV/DVR to continue watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In real time there was only about a half an hour left in the race, but we wanted to watch the whole thing. It was a great race. The end of the race saw the Peugeots dropping out one by one until only the Audis were left standing.
After that we still had Formula One qualifying and the race in Montreal to watch. It was one of the better recent F1 races. There was passing and in the end tire strategy played a huge role in the outcome. When that was over (about 9 PM) we fired up the grill and grilled out the steaks. The steaks defrosted on the was back from Florida and needed to be cooked. We had them with the standard potato packets and corn on the cob.
All in all a really lovely day.
