  Our little baby turned one yesterday. We celebrated by having cake (Turkey flavored with yogurt icing) and opening presents. She got an ocotpus (RIP), a chick that quacks (don’t ask me, I didn’t design it), a squeeky ball with feet, a rawhide and a knuckle bone, and a strip of Texas Jerky). She seemed to enjoy them all.
As if that was not enough excitement, today she and her sister had their final exam in Obedience Traning, but that would be a separate post

I ask to be or not to be.
That is the question I ask of me.
This sullied life, it makes me shudder.
My uncle’s boffing dear sweet mother.

Would I, could I take me life?
Could I, should I end this strife?
Should I jump out of a plane?
Or throw myself before a train?

Should I from a cliff just leap?
Could I put myself to sleep?
Shoot myself ot take some poison?
Maybe try self immolation?

To shudder off this mortal coil,
I could stab myself with a fencing foil.
Slash my wrists while in the bath?
Would it end my angst and wrath?

To sleep, to dream, now there’s the rub.
I could drop a toaster in my tub.
Would all be glad if I were dead?
Could I perhaps kill them instead?

This line of thought takes consideration-
For I’m the king of procrastination.

 Yeah, Yeah, I know you can’t believe that it has taken me this long to blog about Thanksgiving. “The New Year has been around for six days already!” I told my-already-completely-over-ridden-with-guilt-self that I would not feel bad about not posting to my blog. So anyway now that the holidays are over I hope to post all of the pictures from said holidays. For Thanksgiving my side of the family went to Sister’s house, where HusbandOfSister smoked a turkey. The turkey was bookmark worthy, as in del.icio.us
Each member of the family contributed at least one dish. I was enticed by a Williams-Sonoma catalog and purchased their trifle bowl and pumpkin butter, so I could make their Pecan Pumpkin Butter Trifle. It was so good I don’t even mind being duped into the purchase. husband made some Good Ole Country Stuffing and Wild Mushroom, Chestnut & Sausage Dressing.
The table was done in all black & white. It made for a beautiful, contemporary setting. Much food was consumed and a good time was had by all!

  Yesterday I wanted to blow the leaves off of the driveway, so I moved our two cars down to our other driveway.

I could have parked them on the street. But I didn’t.
I could have pulled the Audi up next to the Xterra. But I didn’t.
I could have parked the Audi in between the driveways so the Xterra could get out. But I didn’t.
I could have put the cars back when I was done blowing leaves in the front and before I went to work in the back. But I didn’t.
