  This morning Husband, Sister, HusbandOfSister, Rikka, Rainah, Remy and I took part in Athens Run for the Dogs. Hosted by Canine Companions for Independence, this 5k Run and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is held at Sandy Creek park in Athens, Georgia. All proceeds from this benefited Canine Companions for Independence; “a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.”

We participated in the Fun Run/Walk and then watched the Tennis Ball competition followed by the Wet T-Shirt competition (you know, put the wet t-shirt on your dog the fastest). After which we had a lovely lunch at DePalma’s, our favorite local Italian restaurant.

Fun was had by all.
